Stella left us unexpectedly in January 2008.  Our best guess tells us that our beloved Percheron vaulting partner lived a long 24 years.  She will surely be missed!

Ranger came to us with Stella when Equestars first opened back in 2004.  He was retired from the US forest service, and has covered many miles in his lifetime.  We used to tease that you could start a chainsaw under his legs & he wouldn't mind.  Many a rider enjoyed the solid reliable ride that Ranger offered.  We believe Ranger was 32 when he left us in the winter of '07.  We like to think that he & Stella are grazing on those beautiful green pastures in the sky.
